Welcome to the St. James Brother of Our Lord Orthodox Mission blog! (That's a mouthful!) This blog is linked to our website which can found at http://www.stjamesnorthland.org/.
St. James is located just outside of Gladstone, Missouri which is on the north side of Kansas City. We are a small mission, but our hearts are big. Please feel free to come by and visit us for Divine Liturgy at 10am Sunday mornings, and please stay afterwards for our coffee hour luncheon.
This blog is designed to share our parishoners' stories of how they have either come to Orthodoxy from another spiritual tradition, or to share the stories of those who have grown up in the Orthodox faith as "cradle Orthodox." We hope you will enjoy getting to know us!
